Lose weight with Neuro Linguistic Programming
How many people do you know that have been on a diet at sometime or other? The answer is probably lots and lots of people. What do the majority of them have in common? They lost weight to begin with and after six months were probably fatter than they were before they went on the diet. So what do they do next? Yes, you’ve guessed it, they go on another diet.
Diets work by introducing an element of hope mixed with a regime that requires the user to subject themselves to the rules of that diet. It can be comforting being supported by a “tried and tested approach” or testimonials that prove that this diet is the best in the world.
The problem is, that whilst they work in the short term, they don’t work in the long term. Why? Because they don’t address the real problems that surround weight gain.
No human being, given the choice, will deprive themselves of pleasure for very long. In the West, our weight problems derive from a combination of poor food and over indulgence.
We attribute emotional values to food: for example how many people, or maybe you do it yourself, have said that I’m going to eat that chocolate because I’ve had a hard week and I deserve it? How many people eat to cheer themselves up? How many people get enormous pleasure out of eating things that they shouldn’t?
And do you know what, it’s nothing to do with food. It has everything to do with the emotional impact that food provides.
This is where this CD is valuable. Using my powerful techniques of NLP, I seek to change the way in which people’s relationship with food causes unpleasant consequences. Only when these attitudes are addressed can changes be made which will radically affect the person’s diet.
The strength of this approach is that it doesn’t make the user feel restricted and because it changes the emotional way in which people view food, you never feel as though you’re on a diet and so it has an enormous chance of success.
